Halo Beriti is a single farm owned and managed by Mr. Bekele Gemeda in the village of Worka, just outside the town of Gedeb in Yirgacheffe. Situated between 1,900 and 2,200 MASL, the farm benefits from rich volcanic soils, shade-grown coffee, and cool highland air—an ideal environment for slow cherry maturation and exceptional quality.
Bekele tends to 6.5 hectares of coffee, with another 3 hectares nearby. He works side by side with his family, bringing decades of experience and a meticulous approach to every part of the process. Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, sorted with care, and processed using a traditional washed method to highlight the coffee's clarity and brightness.
This lot is part of the Single Farmer Project, an initiative that ensures transparency and traceability while supporting farmers who are dedicated to producing outstanding coffee. By purchasing directly, we help create a more sustainable future for producers and their communities.
Expect a cup that is floral and elegant, with notes of jasmine, citrus, and a gentle sweet finish.
